| Two cars on the island |
![]() For Demian There are only two motor vehicles on our small Greek island, one is a garbage truck and the other is a small lorry for building materials. Everything else is carried by donkeys or horses. It's very quiet. Our friend came to visit us for two weeks and we booked him at a nice pension down by the sea on the really peaceful side of the island. Soon he found out that the garbage truck had its resting place just up the alley from his bedroom window and six o'clock every morning it woke him up. But, on a beautiful and quiet island like this it's wonderful to wake up early.
