Blues and ballads

My doctor says my headache is not from high blood pressure but from problems in my neck and back. Whatever. Today it was too much and I didn't even go to the office. But after a while a cup of coffee tasted good. Lars Jansson is a Swedish jazz pianist, he has made some records with his trio and he has now collected all his ballads on one CD. That CD is my medicine this Wednesday morning. The ballads are all originals, he plays with a touch and tone of an early Bill Evans but with a clear and very distinguished melody line. I realize I have been humming his tunes on the bus on my way to the office. Not this morning, though. But, this morning they work better than Citodon.
