The White album

beatles.gifI was going to order a bunch of records and
I called the distribution centre that handles all
the Swedish record companies (as we work in
the entertainment field we have an account there).

The woman who dealt with my order excused herself,
she was new and it took some time for her to handle
the computer. Everything was fine, I didn't mind but,
when I ordered a copy of The Beatles' White Album,
she couldn't find it:

-Did you say Beatles? The Wide Album..? She was
not sure.

I tried to control myself not being clever and witty but
I said it was The White Album, not The Wide Album,
and in the end she had some help from a colleague and
of course they found the album.

And she told me the title was not The White Album,
that's just what people call it. It doesn't have a title and
that's the reason she couldn't find it.

I didn't comment, I realized I was on thin ice.

Instead I just ordered a copy of
The Beatles' album Sergeant Popper and
a Boothoven piano concert.
