A favorite album for many, and not only the hardcore Coltrane fans. A lot of people found Coltrane through this and the album with Johnny Hartman. Maybe they turned away later after listening to the more free stuff.... Time to turn back!

I love Coltrane in all of his "periods" but find his pre-Giant Steps more listenable. Love his work with Miles Davis. Lost Coltrane way too early and can only imagine what he would have done having lived longer. Nice piece of art, Henry!
